Printmaking

In drypoint printmaking a printing plate is created by engraving the image lines and textures with a variety of tools on to a thin plastic sheet.

The plate is then carefully inked and wiped before passing the plate through the etching press with damp paper.

The Inking and wiping process is repeated for each print.
